“This video dates back to winter 2020, in the months of January and February in Cape Town South Africa.
We are very fond of this windsurfing destination for our training and winter holidays both for the wind and wave conditions and for the nature and culture that surrounds this fantastic place .. now I have lost count but this should be 6/7 year consecutive .. when you say the famous quote “Mal d’Afrique” .. I think it definitely suits us 🙂 �
Unfortunately, given the pandemic situation and a bit of work commitments, I was only able to edit this little clip now.
The conditions were very tough for me last year because we got really strong wind conditions..I did a lot of exits with the 3.6 unfortunately not having a smaller sail I suffered a bit but I must say that there is always a lot of learning even in such extreme conditions.
There are many wipe outs .. there is still a lot to improve especially in the jumps but the fun was not lacking as usual.
