Qualche giorno fa avevamo pubblicato un video di Lars Petersen a Klitmoller, CLICCA QUI. Ringraziandoci Lars ci ha segnalato una sua ultima pazza avventura. Uscire in pieno inverno nel Mare del Nord in boardshort… roba da fuori di testa!
Lars aveva sentito parlare dei benefici fisici del fare il bagno d’inverno… ha solamente portato la cosa al livello successivo! Ma è contento oggi di riaver indossato la sua muta da 6/5 mm!

The action picture doesn’t give away AT ALL that it’s still winter! The water is a freezing cold 4 degrees at the moment, not to mention the chill factor in 40+ knots winds so let me tell you it was INTENS!!!.. Knowing that you can only spend that many minutes in the water before you go into hypothermia we off course had a FULLY detailed plan for emergency rescue with Eddie in wetsuit and a kite rigged and ready to go within seconds. Without board he could have pulled me in no time should the need have come up. Martin was also there ready to help. So basically just an advanced form of winter bathing! Actually felt that high that winter bathers talk about!
